I am not a number

I'm trying to remember if this is Ruby's first visit to Jack Hill's Cafe, the A5's best-kept secret. I think it is – I haven't been meandering round the midlands for RBR landmarks yet this year and I've mostly been going north on the A10 of late. Which may be speedy but does not have a caff where you have to remember your number if you want to get fed.

  1. Come in No. 306 – Frank needs you to enter the Thunderfest! But you will need a pre 1974 machine and a lot of keftedes.I might just percolate up to Darley Moor to have a quick peek!

  2. Truly one of the only ‘proper’ transport cafes left, proper ‘service with a snarl!’This is one of my Sunday ride-out destinations, for breakfast and somewhere to waste my humour!
